Originally hailing from the vibrant landscapes of Puerto Rico, Dani brings a unique perspective and a fervent passion for justice to the legal arena. A distinguished graduate of East Carolina University, Dani earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, laying the foundation for a remarkable career in the legal field.
During Dani’s time at ECU, a pivotal internship at the District Attorney’s Office ignited a deep-seated interest in criminal justice. Serving as a beacon for justice, Dani dedicated four years as a Victim Witness Legal Assistant in Union County, North Carolina, specializing in Violent Crimes and Child Abuse cases.
The journey continued into law school, where Dani discovered a newfound love for personal injury law. While pursuing legal education, Dani wore multiple hats, serving as a Student Ambassador, Vice President of the Public Interest Law Society, Director of the Peer Mentoring Program, ABA student representative, and Kaplan representative – showcasing a commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
During her 3L year, Dani began an impactful journey with NSLF, starting as an intern and seamlessly transitioning into the role of a Legal Assistant in the Litigation Department after graduating. Upon passing the Georgia Bar Exam, Dani was promoted to the position of Associate Attorney, where she continues to make a meaningful impact.
Beyond the legal realm, Dani finds solace in family visits to Puerto Rico, playful outings with her dog at the park, and the creative expression found in painting. This multifaceted approach to life reflects Dani’s dedication to balance, empathy, and a holistic understanding of the world – qualities that undoubtedly contribute to her success in the legal profession.
