REECE RIDEN
Associate Attorney
Reece attended Emmanuel College, located in Franklin Springs, Georgia, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law studies with a concentration in History. Reece was an All-American and National Champion all four years at Emmanuel College, competing in Cross County and Track & Field. He continued his education at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he was voted National Vice Justice of the year for his legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta, International. Reece also worked as a student research assistant, peer mentor, and student ambassador. He has continued pouring his heart and soul into AJMLS and, since 2021, has served as an Alumni Board Executive.
After earning his Juris Doctor, Reece began his practice as a staff attorney in Hall County, where he assisted the county’s civil and criminal docket for all state court proceedings. Before joining The Nick Schnyder Law Firm, Reece worked for one of the state’s largest insurance defense firms representing various insurance providers and large corporations. He then joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex in January 2021, and his practice focused primarily on automobile and premises liability defense. Reece is a current member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
Reece’s hard work has led him to become the youngest person to be inducted into the ACLU board and be a nominee for the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40. Outside the courtroom, he sits on the Executive Board for Men Alive LLC., a non-profit organization that helps foster young men in middle and high school.
Reece and his wife reside in Hoschton, Georgia, where they enjoy running, cycling, and hiking in their free time.
